Just like every Airplum slipper, the Prilaine women’s winter slippers are produced and assembled in Augignac (Dordogne), a region renowned for its advanced expertise in footwear. Our workshops are located in the heart of the Green Périgord, halfway between Angoulême, Périgueux, and Limoges. Prilaine women’s winter slippers and all our other Airplum slippers have been manufactured in this factory since 1947!
Are you captivated by these charentaise-style women’s winter slippers? It’s simple, just select your usual size. Feel free to check our size guide if this is your first purchase on our website. And don’t worry, if you have a sizing issue, you can return your Prilaine women’s winter slippers and choose a size up or down. Please refer to our return and exchange policies.
A stain or dirt on the Scottish print of your Prilaine women’s winter slippers? No worries. Our slippers are designed to be practical and adorn your feet for a long time. As for maintenance and cleaning, simply put them in the washing machine and wash them at 30°C. Then, just let your Prilaine women’s winter slippers air dry or place them in the sun.
Do you sweat in woolen slippers? No, wool is a natural fiber that absorbs moisture and directs it outward. Your Prilaine women’s winter slippers allow you to enjoy the warmth of wool while keeping your feet dry.
I want to offer Prilaine women’s winter slippers. If the gift is not well-received, can the recipient choose a different model or print? Yes, of course, but within a maximum of 14 days after your order. Your relative, friend, or acquaintance can choose the model of their choice: mules, clogs, espadrille-style shoes, summer or winter models. Contact us by email or phone to ask us all your questions.
Is this model suitable for “seniors”? We do not recommend the Prilaine women’s winter slipper model for elderly individuals who need good support and a non-slip sole. The models of slippers for the elderly with Velcro straps or adjustable Velcro closure will be much more suitable (models Elan, Zoe, Warone, Daddy, Dadou, Zétoile, Zelou). Discover them.

Did you know? Sheep’s wool is an excellent thermal insulator. It’s woven in Italy, specifically in the Piedmont region. It’s even a natural insulator used in construction! With it, you’ll have warm feet and be well-prepared to face the cold of the winter season. These Prilaine women’s winter slippers are perfect for women who often have cold feet. Sheep’s wool is also a bio-sourced, recyclable material that is soft and comfortable for your feet.
Airplum has designed these women’s winter slippers, Prilaine, drawing inspiration from the iconic French style originating from Charente Périgord. It has everything, or almost everything: the shape, the wool, the famous checkered print, and the Airplum quality on top of it (after all, they’ve been making slippers for 80 years!). The women’s slipper combines the Charentaise style with a gray and red Scottish motif, offering a blend of authenticity, classic charm, and a touch of vintage—a timeless accessory for all styles and ages.
How to wear these Airplum Prilaine women’s winter slippers? You can go for a cozy “cocooning” style with sweatpants, casual chic with leggings, or sophisticated with an ultra-feminine blouse. This classic slipper is the crown jewel of your wardrobe and a key piece in your shoe collection, regardless of your age or fashion preferences!
Périgord is the birthplace of slippers and footwear in France. For decades, even centuries, this region has been producing high-quality footwear items. It’s filled with manufacturers that have become prominent figures in the craft and industrial craftsmanship of shoes, slippers, saddles, and leatherwork. Unfortunately, many have closed down, and only a handful remain. We take pride in still being present and continuing this tradition. Airplum was established here in Auguignac, Dordogne, right next to the Charente department in 1947 under the name Sodopac. While the small family business has grown significantly and now offers no less than 80 different models (mules, clogs, ankle boots, espadrille-style, Charentaise-style with a variety of colors, prints, and different textiles), it retains its human dimension (with only 50 employees) and has successfully preserved its craftsmanship for 80 years. Today, Airplum offers the best quality-to-price ratio in the made-in-France slipper market!

Use our Women’s/Men’s charts to determine your ideal shoe size.
If, however, the length of your foot falls between two sizes, we advise you to choose the larger size for greater comfort:
It’s very simple: just put them in your washing machine at 30°C, then leave them to dry. And to make them last longer, especially for all our mules with foam soles, you must avoid wearing them outdoors, otherwise the sole will tend to degrade.
